Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 18, 2026

This policy explains how Carried By Six collects, uses, stores, and shares information through cb6official.com, campaign pages, mailing-list features, and related music-service links.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

  • Information you submit, including your email address, contact-form content, and mailing-list choices.
  • Signup and campaign information, including submission time, campaign source, referral URL, UTM parameters, and available region or country information.
  • Technical information contained in ordinary server and security logs, such as IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, timestamps, and error records.
  • For the playlist campaign, the time we send your browser to Feature.fm and the time your browser reaches our completion page.
  • Email campaign activity, including delivery, opens, link clicks, bounces, and unsubscribe activity.
  • Optional advertising and measurement events, such as page views, form submissions, and playlist-flow completion, only after you accept optional cookies.

Spotify And Feature.fm

In the standard playlist flow, CB6 saves your email signup and then redirects you to a Feature.fm page. Feature.fm and Spotify conduct their portions of the process under their own terms and privacy policies. They do not pass your Spotify account details to CB6 through the configured completion URL. CB6 uses its first-party session to associate a returning browser with a pending signup when possible.

Feature.fm may separately ask whether you want to join an artist mailing list using information available through your Spotify connection. That checkbox is a separate consent handled by Feature.fm. CB6 does not rely on that checkbox as proof of consent for email addresses submitted directly to CB6.

The application also contains a direct Spotify authorization capability that may be used for testing or future functionality. If you use that capability, Spotify may provide CB6 with an account identifier, user identifier, email address, display name, country, authorized scopes, and access or refresh tokens. Tokens are encrypted in application storage. CB6 may also record requested and completed playlist actions. CB6 does not receive or store your Spotify password.

How We Use Information

We may use collected information to:

  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and its forms.
  • Manage mailing-list subscriptions and send requested band news, releases, show information, merchandise updates, and related messages.
  • Complete the playlist signup and return workflow.
  • Measure campaign handoffs, completions, email delivery, opens, and link activity.
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and prevent misuse or security incidents.

Cookies And Optional Tracking

The site uses first-party session and security cookies for forms, administrative authentication, request protection, and the playlist return workflow. These essential cookies are active because the requested site functions cannot operate reliably without them.

If a Meta Pixel is configured, it remains disabled unless you select Accept Optional. After consent, Meta may receive page, signup, and completion events together with technical identifiers such as IP address, browser information, and cookie identifiers. You can reject or withdraw optional-cookie consent at any time through . See the Cookie Policy for details.

When We Share Information

We may provide information to service providers that help operate the site, host data, deliver email, maintain security, or measure campaigns. When you continue to Feature.fm or Spotify, those companies receive information directly from your browser and account interactions. If you accept optional cookies, Meta receives measurement events. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and site integrity.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some laws may define optional advertising measurement as sharing or targeted advertising; it remains disabled unless you accept optional cookies.

Retention And Security

A pending playlist subscriber ID remains in the server-side session until the return is completed or the session expires, currently after 120 minutes of inactivity. Email subscription records and associated campaign timestamps are retained while the subscription is active and afterward as reasonably needed for suppression, recordkeeping, security, and legal obligations. Email tracking, server logs, direct Spotify authorization records, and support messages are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for their stated purposes.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted storage for Spotify access and refresh tokens. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your Choices And Rights

You may unsubscribe immediately using the link in any marketing email. CB6 retains the address as a suppression record so it is excluded from future campaign sends unless you later provide fresh consent. You may also use the site contact form to ask what information CB6 holds about you or request correction or deletion. Applicable law may provide additional rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.

The site honors supported Global Privacy Control signals by keeping optional Meta tracking disabled. You can also use Cookie Settings to change your choice directly.

Children And International Visitors

The site is not directed to children under 13, and CB6 does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, where privacy laws may differ.
